Everything comes from the darkness of space, of the mind or of our mothers womb. Darkness is mother to all things.

Parting from this idea I studied the known symbology for darkness and shadow, beyond the one of simple absence of light, then reflecting my understanding of such findings, I created a design in which by form and line the attention of the spectator is drawn to the center, moving in circles to the center of the piece. I chose the coldest colors in the color wheel to form a progression in the design from its edges to the center piece.
